NHS England has yesterday (Thursday, 13 July) announced a new set of performance targets for the ambulance service which will apply to all 999 calls for the first time (NHS England, 13.07.17). A step in the right direction to alleviate the pressures off the Emergency Department and controlling Patient Flow.
